The project involves upscaling and updating the LGU portal to serve as a benchmark and information resource tool for Local Government Units (LGUs) in the Philippines. Tasks include design of the portal and interface with other relevant resources; links to other websites that provide relevant information; update or enter raw data gathered through a parallel analytical effort. It includes consultation with key stakeholders on the likely use, form and content of the website.

The portal is designed to hold internal information for the LGU platform for the World Bank, and an external page for LGUs and interested users, including link to PDF working group webpage. It provides information on various financing services offered by the World Bank, list of funding resources and application requirements, downloadable forms, and online letters of interest for accessing funding; disseminate development-related news of interest to LGUs; links to other development-related knowledge resources.
